About Us
You’re probably reading this because you want to know more about WHY we’re in this game.
My name is Xin Yi. (Most know me as the Outperforming Coach.)
We’ve helped >80% out of 500 students to score A1/A2, even if they were at C6-F9.
But here’s what most don’t know.
Back when I was in RI as a national athlete, I struggled with a D in math even after studying hard
And I realised that the biggest problem is not what happens during class, but after class.
Most tutors don’t have time to go deep in class because they need to rush through the syllabus.
Their advice is to “practice more” outside of class.
So students end up practicing as many questions as possible.
But this approach is highly inefficient, because they’ll over-practice their strong concepts and avoid their weak concepts, which costs them 20 marks in the exams.
I was only able to turnaround to an A because my teacher pointed out my exact weaknesses, then drill to eliminate them after classes.
This is why after testing learning acceleration systems for 12 years, we’ve created the first and only Dual Class System™ in Singapore: an extra weekly practice class to turn weaknesses into strengths.
Outperformers Mission
Unleashing Each Student With The Most Accelerated Path To Mastery
Speed is King
The faster you receive and act on the feedback, the faster you improve. Act on feedback instantly. This is the #1 trait that our top of cohort students have.
Participate 100%
There is no “try”, you do your best in learning, practicing and taking charge of your own learning process. As long as you do your best, there are no regrets in life. The only failure is the failure to participate.
“Yes” to Challenges
When you meet tough questions, you say “yes!” because you enjoy the challenge of becoming better.
Always Bounce Back
Mistakes are just learning opportunities. Who you are is not defined by your mistakes, but by your response to correct those mistakes. No matter how stressful it gets, you don’t give up and keep moving forward.
Asking Always Helps
There are no stupid questions, only students who become stupid by not asking questions. Asking gives others a chance to learn and gives us an opportunity to do what we love most, enlightening you.
